Isla de Plata – Isla de la Plata is a small island off the central coast of Ecuador, near the city of Puerto López. Part of the Machalilla National Park, the uninhabited island has beaches, headlands and bushes. It is known for its numerous seabirds, such as blue-footed and masked boobies, in addition to Galapagos albatrosses. The trails range from Drake Bay to the cliffs that dominate the waters that attract manta rays and migratory humpback whales.
